Although visually contemporary, the motif of our tapestry has roots dating back to Inca mythology.

In the beliefs of the indigenous people of South America, it symbolizes constant transformation. Its ability to shed its skin signifies renewal and evolution – both physically and spiritually. The snake inhabits Ukhu Pacha, the underground and spiritual world, which is the sphere of ancestors and the secrets of existence. As a spiritual guide, he reminds us of the cyclical nature of life and the need for constant transformation.

Grassy, intense green turns smoothly into matte black with a smooth tonal transition. This combination is rare because it is extremely difficult to achieve in jacquard weaving. The whole thing shimmers and opalizes with saturated tones.
